Beijing (May 16, 2017)- Kunlun Red Star (KRS) Women’s Ice Hockey team is proud to announce that they will be hosting an Exposure Camp open to all full Chinese and ethnic Chinese women with Ice Hockey experience.
The event will be held June 6th and 7th at the Mastercard Centre for Hockey Excellence in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Camp will kick off on the 6th at 7:00 AM with registration and will include a 9:00 AM U15 session and an 11:00 AM Over 15 session. June 7th will start off at 9:00 AM with the U15 again and an 11:00 AM Over 15 session, to be followed by a 1:30 PM information session.
“We are excited for the first Team China exposure camp in North America.” Said Coach Murphy. “Our goal is to find the best talent in North America and have Team China benefit as we grow more opportunities globally for women hockey players. The vision of KRS is amazing and we cannot wait to see the talent in Toronto!”

KRS is working to create a successful long-term development plan for women’s ice hockey in China as the nation prepares to host the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing. Part of this plan includes the fielding of several Junior and Pro level teams under the direction of KRS Chairman Mintwell Yang, Chief Coach Digit Murphy, and her staff.
